12:15-12:45 Matthew Butters (UK), BSc (Hons) MRCPod, Victoria Spoor (UK)

    Abstract

Swift is the only non-ablative microwave therapy to induce immune modulation and a systematic response, thus leading to the healing of (plantar) warts with an 80–100% success rate compared to previous methods. The safe and delegable treatment eliminates infected cells by selectively heating tissue and modulating several immune processes through dielectric heating in a matter of seconds.

    12:45-13:15 Pascal Servell (France)

    Abstract

ADVATx combines yellow 589 nm & infrared 1319 nm wavelengths into a single treatment, harnessing the synergistic effect between the two wavelengths for an optimised treatment experience. ADVATx has two dedicated treatment protocols, ADVAClear and ADVABright, which allow the user to undergo skin rejuvenation, treat acne, and much more in a safe and clinically effective manner.

  • Acne, Rosacea, Fat reduction – how they are all connected and how we can treat them

17:15-18:15 Mikkel Schoedt, MSc Biochemistry (Copenhagen)

    Abstract

When treating inflammatory skin conditions, improving the skin quality, tightening the skin or reducing fat deposits we often rely on high energy, cryolipolysis or thermolysis to improve the conditions. However, when considering the skin holistically and how the different cells, layers and structures of the skin are interconnected – how skin stress impact the formation of inflammatory skin conditions, or the functionality of the our fat deposits, we need to consider alternative or supplementary ways to treat these conditions.

We have for the past several years focused on low energy systems with unique energy types, both related to Fluorescent Light Energy used for the medical treatment of Acne, Rosacea, skin destressing as well as collagen boosting (Kleresca & Lumixa), but also more recently on non-thermal, non-destructive, multifocal ultrasound for cellular stimulation of reduced inflammation, reduced fat deposits and improved skin tightening.

We will here present the technologies, the clinical practice and latest research in the field of natural stimulation and regeneration of the skin and adipose tissue.
